Clusit presented the First Half 2024 Report<\/strong> on Nov. 7<\/strong> at the Security Summit Streaming Edition 2024<\/strong>, a year-end online event that brings together industry experts, businesses and professionals for an in-depth look at the hottest issues and new cybersecurity challenges for businesses, in anticipation of DORA and new European cyber defense regulations.<\/p>\n\n

The Report begins with an overview of the most significant safety incidents that occurred globally (including Italy)<\/strong>, comparing them with data collected in previous years.<\/p>\n\n

The analysis of attacks in Italy is then completed by the findings and reports of the Postal and Cybersecurity Police<\/strong>, which provided extremely interesting data and information on activities and operations carried out during the first six months of this year.<\/p>\n\n

In the first six months of 2024 , cyber attacks<\/strong> surveyed by Clusit experts grew by 23%<\/strong> compared to the previous six months. On average, there were 9 major attacks per day in the world; 7.6% of incidents in Italy<\/strong>. Healthcare is the most affected sector globally. In Italy <\/strong> Targeted manufacturing<\/strong>, but attacks on health care grow 83%<\/strong> from first half of 2023.<\/p>\n\n
