Cyber 4.0 signed on May 18 a collaboration agreement with the Catalan Cybersecurity Agency.<\/p>\n
The aim is to develop technical cooperation in areas of mutual interest, with reference to both core cyber security services and specific areas such as: automotive and smart mobility, e-health, aerospace, and next-generation telecommunications systems (5G and 6G).<\/p>\n
The agreement includes the provision of operational services, development of case studies for technology testing and validation, and implementation of pilot projects on innovative solutions.<\/p>\n
The two sides will also cooperate to promote cybersecurity innovation in their respective regions, including through joint participation in EU-funded research projects.<\/p>\n
Focus of the joint action will be cyber security as an enabling factor for the use of advanced digital technologies (e.g., AI and ML, blockchain and smart contracts, quantum cryptography, smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0).<\/p>\n
Joint initiatives will also be conducted in areas of common interest, with the participation of SMEs and public administration, aimed at showcasing industry best practices and strengthening the capacities of regional stakeholders. These include joint events-both in-person and online-training courses, matchmaking workshops, etc. <\/p>\n
Finally, it is expected that the agreement will also foster the exchange of knowledge and expertise through the sharing of studies, research papers, reports, web content and other documents deemed relevant to their respective communities of reference.<\/p>\n
Cyber 4.0 firmly believes in international cooperation as a strategic factor in the development of its action, in the dual sense of a lever for strengthening activities for prevention, protection and reaction to cyber threats, and a necessary comparison on best practices for a full development of the potential offered by the digital transition.<\/p>\n
