What are the common courses of action in Europe to respond to the shortage of cybersecurity professionals and skills?

We talk about this on Oct. 21, at the webinar titled “From Europe to Italy, the Common Strategy for Cyber Skills” together with the European UnionAgency for Cybersecurity(ENISA), theNational Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), Regione Lazio and theItalian Association for Information Security (CLUSIT).

In light of the Italian situation in terms of the cyber skills gap, from PAs to SMEs, strategic directions at the national and regional level to increase cyber skills will be discussed, in coherence and uniformity with the European educational and training context. In this regard, “The European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF),” a document that identifies 12 profiles of cyber security experts, each with specific responsibilities and competencies, will be presented.

The goal is common: to align academic and vocational educational offerings with labor market demand, developing the “human capital” needed to meet the challenges posed by the digital and cyber world.
