
Full Professor of Business Organization at the Luiss Department of Business and Management where he is director of the graduate program in Economics and Management and of master’s and executive programs on digital innovation and governance issues. He is president of Cyber 4.0 and director of the joint Cyber Safe AI Innovation (XAI Lab) Luiss – Cyber 4.0. He has authored more than 100 papers on the topics of digital innovation and cybersecurity. He has held teaching and research positions in France, Norway, Switzerland, UK and USA.

Matteo Lucchetti is the Operations Director of Cyber 4.0, the National Competence Center for Cybersecurity promoted by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, a public-private partnership created to support businesses and PA on a path to secure digitization.
He is an international expert and collaborates with ENISA, NATO, the Council of Europe and other international organizations on cyber capacity building initiatives.
Prior to Cyber 4.0, he was the Cybercrime Programme Manager at the Council of Europe, responsible for Global Action on Cybercrime. Previously, he worked at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights and in the Italian financial sector.
Matteo has a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering and a B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Royal Holloway University of London, and an LL.M. in International Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Law from the United Nations University for Peace.
