Cyber 4.0 joins the #QuantumInitiative, a Memorandum of Understanding with companies, universities, foundations and research organizations to promote research and development activities in the area of #QuantumTechnologies for #Space

Given the rapid evolution of quantum technologies, the goal of this initiative is to identify Italian excellence on this type of technology and network them so that they can work together on one of the most cutting-edge fronts of innovation through collaborations, partnerships in research, development and innovation projects in areas such as quantum cryptography, quantum communication, quantum computers, quantum sensors and quantum metrology.

Joint research, development, and innovation activities will be geared toward applications of quantum technologies in the space sector, with a specific focus on the integration of these technologies into new satellite constellations integrated with terrestrial systems and infrastructure such as, for example, for communication and metrology.

The protocol members also intend to collaborate in educational and training activities dedicated to quantum technologies for space, through, for example, the coordinated development of industrially focused doctoral programs.
