Blockchain for Financial Services

On Tuesday, May 31 from 2:20 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Luiss (The Dome – Aula TD1, Campus Viale Romania 32 – 00197 Rome) the conference The Blockchain for Financial Services will take place, organized by Algorand Foundation in collaboration with Luiss and Cyber 4.0 and sponsored by CDTI and INFORAV.
The event will include talks by Pietro Grassano of Algorand Inc, Riccardo Piselli of the Luiss-BILL Research Center, Alessandro Mei of the Department of Computer Science – La Sapienza, and Massimo Morini of the Algorand Foundation. Following this, Pierangelo Soldavini deputy editor of Nòva24 will be the moderator of a panel discussion in which the above-mentioned speakers and other experts will participate.
Paolo Spagnoletti, Co-Director of the Master’s Program in Cybersecurity Luiss Guido Carli University and Competence Center Cyber 4.0, will introduce and Sergio Caserta, Algorand Ambassador and Rome CDTI Advisor, will conclude the conference.
The conference aims to present the vital issues of the relationship between blockchain and finance, both CeFi and DeFi, specifically: convergence between the two different approaches, use cases of decentralized finance, legal aspects involved and actions of regulators, and security of the ecosystem.
The panel discussion will explore the issues presented, and throughout the conference there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions of the speakers.
