Cyber 4.0 joins ECSO, together for a growing cybersecurity community in Europe.
BRUSSELS, June 16, 2023 – With unanimous approval from the General Assembly, ECSO – European Cyber Security Organization – welcomed 20 new members on Thursday, including Cyber 4.0.
Cyber 4.0 thus becomes part of a public-private partnership now joined by more than 290 entities, including large companies, SMEs and startups, research centers, universities, end users, operators, associations and national governments.
ECSO, a nonprofit organization founded in 2016, works with its members and partners to develop a competitive European cybersecurity ecosystem that provides reliable cybersecurity solutions and promotes Europe’s cybersecurity and technological independence. An authoritative point of comparison between private organizations and European institutions on cybersecurity matters, ECSO also develops its action through the activation of working tables dedicated to specific issues. In addition, since December 2022, ECSO has been assigned on behalf of the European Union to coordinate an initiative related to the European Cybersecurity Competence Center: the establishment and start-up of the European Cybersecurity Competence Community ( ECCO Project, https://ecs-org.eu/ecso-to-lead-ecco-the-european-cybersecurity-community-support-project/#).
Cyber 4.0 will provide input on policy issues, SME security, EU projects and skills development.
