Luiss, Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli, has announced a public selection for the award of 10 full-ride scholarships at the Cyber Safe AI Innovation Laboratory, aimed at recent graduates and young researchers for the academic year 2025/2026.
The fellowships are aimed at carrying out research activities at the Cyber Safe AI Innovation Laboratory (XAI Lab), a laboratory co-managed by Luiss Guido Carli and the Cyber 4.0 Competence Center, and established as part of the Luiss AI4Society Research Center to enhance the activities of the Cyber 4.0 Competence Center.
The lab represents a hub of excellence dedicated to the development of advanced skills in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, with the goal of making innovative digital security solutions available to public administration and businesses.
Planned activities for scholars
Selected fellows will be involved in applied research activities and scientific and technical support to the laboratory’s project lines. Specifically, activities will include:
- Analysis of relevant scientific literature;
- Collection, management and organization of datasets;
- Experimentation and validation of prototypes in controlled environments;
- Application of artificial intelligence techniques;
- Dissemination activities of research results;
- Support for technical coordination of project activities.
The activities will be carried out under the supervision of the Laboratory’s Scientific Officer.
Admission requirements
Applicants are eligible to participate in the selection process if they meet the following requirements as of the closing date of the announcement:
- Master’s, Master’s or Old Degree, or equivalent foreign degree;
- Italian citizenship, citizenship of a European Union member state or citizenship of a third country with a regular residence permit;
- Enjoyment of civil and political rights;
- Absence of pending criminal proceedings;
- Absence of situations of incompatibility or conflict of interest with Luiss Guido Carli.
