The first call in cybersecurity of the Cyber 4.0 competence center, which is led by La Sapienza University of Rome and aggregates public research organizations and companies in a public-private partnership, has been opened. It is one of eight competence centers recognized by the Ministry of Economic Development in order to promote and develop industrial research projects in the area of 4.0 technologies.
The call is aimed, in particular, at small and medium-sized enterprises, with the aim of encouraging their collaboration with the “Cyber 4.0” competence center for the development of innovation projects, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and skills between companies and research organizations. The goal is also to foster the competitiveness of the Italian territory and production system both in terms of social, economic, environmental and employment impact.
The projects, for which there is a budget of 1 million euros, can be submitted by 2 p.m. on May 21, 2021, and must cover four thematic areas:
- Cybersecurity
- Cybersecurity – Space
- Cybersecurity – Automotive
- Cybersecurity – e-Health
