Lazio Cyber League

Lazio Cyber League is the regional contest aimed at middle and high schools in Lazio, created to promote the culture of cybersecurity and the conscious use of digital technologies through the direct involvement of students.

The initiative is part of the project “At school connected: let’s surf safely,” promoted by the Lazio Region in collaboration with Cyber 4.0 – Highly Specialized Competence Center for Cybersecurity – and the Regional School Office of the Ministry of Education and Merit.

The competition invites students to design and implement awareness campaigns on digital security, stimulating creativity, critical thinking and awareness of the risks and opportunities of the digital world. In this way, the school becomes an active laboratory of digital citizenship education, where children are not mere recipients of information, but protagonists of a concrete learning path.

The first edition of the contest involved more than 20 institutions in the area, demonstrating how the topic of cybersecurity is increasingly central to educational pathways. The project aims not only to strengthen students’ skills, but also to support teachers through dedicated training courses. The winning schools were also awarded prizes for the purchase of educational materials and, for some institutions, specific training opportunities dedicated to teachers.

Lazio Cyber League is among the initiatives through which Cyber 4.0 promotes the spread of the culture of cybersecurity and collaboration between schools, institutions and the territory, contributing to the development of a generation more aware, prepared and responsible in the use of technologies.
