Vademecum on cybersecurity for SMEs
The Cybersecurity Vademecum for SMEs, produced by Cyber 4.0 in collaboration with Unindustria’s Cybersecurity Technical Group, is a guide designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises in consciously addressing cybersecurity challenges.
While digital transformation has expanded opportunities for business growth, innovation and competitiveness, it has also exposed companies of all sizes to increasingly complex risks. Cyber-attacks are now a real threat, with potential operational, economic and reputational repercussions even for less structured entities.
In this context, the Vademecum stands as a practical guidance tool, helping SMEs understand the main digital risks and identify key measures to protect data, systems and business processes. The goal is to foster greater awareness of the strategic role of cybersecurity as an essential element for business continuity.
The document takes as a reference the 12 steps for safer business, elaborated by the European Cybersecurity Agency (ENISA), and reworks them in an operational key for the Italian context, offering concrete and immediately applicable indications for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Vademecum thus represents a first entry point to the world of cybersecurity for SMEs, accompanying them on a path of growth toward a safer and more responsible management of digital technologies.
