Starts 5GSESAMO (SEcure and SAfe MObility and logistics), a project funded by the European Union under the Connecting Europe Facility – Digital program, followed by theEuropean Health and Digital Executive Agency- HaDEA, with the aim of accelerating the deployment of advanced and interoperable 5G networks in our country.
The project is coordinated by the National Center for Sustainable Mobility and brings together a national consortium involving industry players and competence centers engaged in the development and adoption of next-generation 5G infrastructure.
It involves as affiliated partners theUniversity of Naples Federico II, CNR-STEMS and as beneficiaries TIM, the competence centers MADE – Competence Center Industria 4.0, SMACT Competence Center, BI-REX Competence Center, CYBER 4.0 – Cybersecurity Competence Center and Meditech – Competence Center together with Azienda Zero Piemonte.
Adding to the strength of the 5GSESAMO initiative is the wealth of laboratories, equipment and knowledge created through MUR funding from MOST ‘s Spoke 7 in the CCAM4Italy national flagship.
