Following discussions with government officials and the private sector, the third day of the study visit by the Ghanaian delegation focused on the topic of cybersecurity skills and training. In the morning,

Cyber 4.0 facilitated a discussion between the Ghanaian delegation and theCampus Bio-Medico University of Rome (UCBM), and in the afternoon, a meeting with Sapienza University of Rome.

The two universities presented their cybersecurity programs, with the goal of identifying suitable pathways to support the Ghanaian Cyber Security Authority in developing technical training programs and curricula to be implemented nationwide.

The discussion marked a crucial first step in establishing theItaly-Ghana University Twinning Program, an initiative aimed at establishing a partnership between Italian and Ghanaian universities to jointly develop cybersecurity expertise, promote dual-degree programs, and strengthen scientific cooperation, thereby facilitating the international mobility of students, faculty, researchers, and professionals.
