MAY 11 TO 12, 2023
Hosted by the Auditorium della Tecnica (at 65 Viale Umberto Tupini), the B2B event will be dedicated to the most current challenges related to the phenomenon of cybercrime as well as its concrete repercussions on states, companies and citizens.
The program – in progress – on the first day will see on the podium of the plenary hall authoritative representatives of national and supranational institutions who will describe the Italian situation in relation to the main evolutions in the global cybercrime scenario: not only from the point of view of threats and attacks, but also from a regulatory and policy perspective, examining positive solutions or good practices active in Europe and beyond, such as the increasingly detailed international cooperation mechanisms aimed at countering criminal phenomena in cyber space.
Autonomous focuses will cover cyber threats targeting critical sectors and related investigative tools, with dedicated insights into digital evidence and innovations in digital forensics, whose limitations, problems and strengths will be analyzed.
Having thus outlined the relevant legal and geopolitical landscape, on the second day the scheduled talks will focus on contingencies related to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the subsequent proliferation of State-sponsored cyber crimes, where the resources of cyber intelligence and in particularopen source intelligence (OSINT) are central.
Among the many topics addressed,Information Warfare and the emerging discipline of cyber diplomacy stand out, alternating with talks in which academics and experts will offer responsive insights into threats through the exposure of the most effective technological solutions: such as quantum technologies in the service of cybersecurity, innovations in ML and AI, or the most innovative strategies for defending against advanced attacks and minimizing risk, including through the use of Deception Technology tools.
Entirely free of charge, the event offers IT professionals and managers a unique opportunity to get up to speed on the risks, resources and solutions inherent in the complex phenomenon of cybercrime, interacting with institutions and academic research in order to enable robust and shared security strategies.
The proceedings will be conducted in Italian and English; interpreting services with simultaneous translation will be available for each guest, and a certificate of final participation will be issued to all.
