
“Connected at School: Navigating Safely Online” is a project aimed at secondary schools in the Lazio region, created with the goal of promoting a culture of digital safety among students, teachers, and school staff.
The initiative, promoted by the Lazio Region in collaboration with the Regional School Office and Cyber 4.0, directly addresses issues related to online risks, the responsible use of digital technologies, and the main cyber threats that characterize today’s digital landscape.
The project is delivered through training sessions and awareness-raising activities designed to provide practical tools to recognize risky behaviors, protect personal data, and adopt safer practices in the daily use of technology. Particular attention is devoted to the educational role of schools as key enablers of digital citizenship.
The numbers of the first edition
Across its first editions, the initiative has involved thousands of students and hundreds of teachers in schools throughout the region, confirming the importance of a structured and continuous approach to cybersecurity education in the school environment.

As part of the project, the guide brings together informational content, practical advice, and in-depth resources designed to support students and teachers in their digital safety education journey, providing a useful reference to help them navigate the challenges of the online world with confidence and awareness.
