Cyber 4.0 held an online seminar on May 10 for Sapienza’s Master of Science in Cybersecurity entitled “International cooperation on cybercrime – the criminal justice perspective.”

They discussed with students the importance of international cooperation in dealing with cybercrime cases, and the main challenges faced by competent authorities in cross-border investigations and access to electronic evidence.

Of particular interest was the focus on existing instruments under the relevant international treaty, namely the Budapest Convention and its additional protocols.

An interesting topic, especially to understand how the Convention is currently being implemented along with other initiatives currently being undertaken globally.
