Paolo Spagnoletti is Full Professor of Business Organization and holder of the Fastweb+Vodafone Chair in Cybersecurity and Digital Transformation at Luiss Guido Carli University. At Luiss, he is director of the graduate program in Economics and Management, as well as of masters and advanced courses in the areas of cybersecurity, digital innovation and project management. He is a Distinguished Member of the Association for Information Systems. He has more than 130 publications in international journals and conference proceedings to his credit. He is Executive Editor of the Springer Lecture Notes in Information and Organization series and was Associate Editor of the journal Information & Management. He also holds Adjunct Professor positions at Sapienza University of Rome and the University of Agder, Norway.

Operations Director of the National Competence Center on cyber security CYBER 4.0, promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development. The Center was created with the aim of providing support to companies and Public Administration in the digital transition to the adoption of advanced technologies, through Training and Orientation activities and the funding of Research and Innovation projects. Until March 2021 Program Manager Cybercrime at the Council of Europe, responsible for the GLACY+ (Global Action on Cybercrime Extended) program, a global capacity building initiative for developing countries in Africa, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. Previously Senior Research Analyst for ABI Lab, where he coordinated the start-up of activities on information security, then Security Professional Master in Poste Italiane, where he coordinated the activities of the cyber security competence center, and finally at the European Agency for Fundamental Rights (EU FRA), where he supervised a project on surveillance and personal data protection.
