Cyber 4.0, which has recently entered the full operational phase, can now rely on a network of expertise with very high potential, in which each partner contributes its own vision to the overall strategy of business development and service delivery.
With the aim of developing a unified vision on the identity of Cyber 4.0 while maximizing the impact of joint activities, the Center’s partners were involved in April in a collective strategic design(Strategic Design) process aimed at defining, in successive steps, a shared vision and mission, a business model on a first group of services deemed a priority, the related communication strategy, and an implementation program.
The pathway aims to promote the development of activities with clear and measurable goals to be achieved and coordinated actions to integrate the resources (e.g., processes, technologies and facilities) and skills of individual partners.
The Strategic Design framework offers a set of methodological tools (design thinking) to systematically address the challenge of developing new products and services and has been successfully applied in many innovative industries to solve problems of: brand identity, vision & mission, design language, communication, etc.
With the guidance of experienced facilitators, the project was structured in a pathway of six seminars:
- Identification of needs and mapping of stakeholders, internal and external
- Defining a vision & mission statement
- Devising solutions in line with the mission of Cyber 4.0
- Identification and development of a business model for the solutions devised
- Defining the communication strategy and creating a prototype web solution
- Creation of a Milestone Plan that defines roles and responsibilities for execution
In April 2021, the first phase of this path was completed, consisting of the first three meetings.
Among the most notable achievements is the definition of the vision and mission of Cyber 4.0.
Mission: “Accompanying policy makers, companies and PA on a path of growth towards secure digitization thanks to concrete, strategic and sustainable solutions based on knowledge, innovative technologies and enabling services developed with the expertise of our network, enhancing the country’s excellence in the European and international context “l full report is available at the link below.
