On September 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the fourth session of the cybersecurity seminar series will take place.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, in collaboration with the Graduate School of Specialization in Telecommunications and Cyber 4.0, the seminar will focus on the topic“Cognitive warfare: disinformation, social engineering, and cyber threats.”
As part of the objectives set forth in the National Cybersecurity Strategy, the meeting will explore the phenomenon of cognitive warfare and its impact on national, organizational, and individual security.
The discussion will focus on the strategies of information manipulation, disinformation, and social engineering that characterize modern cyber threats, with particular attention to safeguarding trust, user awareness, and measures for prevention and resilience against attacks that exploit the human factor.

To receive a certificate of attendance and any continuing professional development (CPD) credits for engineers registered with the Professional Register, you must attend the entire seminar and answer at least 70% of the questions on the assessment test correctly.
