The closing meeting of the first year of activity of the Lazio Region Cybersecurity Academy.

Young people, cybersecurity skills and the job market: discussed today at the event “Cybersecurity Needs and Prospects”, in the prestigious venue of the Wegil, of the Lazio Region Cybersecurity Academy.

The meeting, closing the first year of the Academy’s activities and promoting upcoming initiatives, was introduced by theAss. Giuseppe Schiboni of the Lazio Region, by Marco Buttarelli President of Laziocrea and Francesco Farina Education Director of the Academy. Speakers included Matteo Lucchetti Director of Cyber 4.0 and Paolo Atzeni Director for Capacity and Skills Development of ACN who made strong contributions to the various activities.

What results achieved for the first year of the Academy?

  • the delivery of the basic course “Cybersecurity Technician” for about 20 young graduates or college students. More than 60 percent found employment in the world of work
  • the series of seminars “At school connected: let’s surf safely”, delivered by experts from the Cyber 4.0 Center, which reached 4500 students and more than 400 teachers from middle and high schools in the region.

What prospects for the coming year?

  1. A new basic “Cybersecurity Technician” course: calls for applications to participate as students or apply as faculty are available on the Academy’s website
  2. An intermediate “Information Security Expert” course: calls for applications to participate as students or to apply as faculty are available on the Academy’s website
  3. A new series of “At School Connected” seminars for middle and high schools

Cyber 4.0 has long invested in cybersecurity training with a focus on young people and in line with the needs of the private and public sectors.
